Our life stories and paths differ from person to person. It is the experiences we have, the reality in which we live and the environment that we live in that forces us to confront the question: how do I create my own path, if I am the first, or, more often, the only Black person in my chosen field? How do I overcome societal hurdles and strengthen my resilience in the face of obstacles to survive and thrive.
We will be speaking with Anna Dushime, Thelma Buabeng and Dr. Kwabena Addo Pambour about the inspiring paths they each took, in completely different professional industries, and how they made their hopes and dreams their reality.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Jeff Kwesi Klein from Each One Teach One e.V. and Jacqueline Routier from Facebook.
